Our principal dentist Dr Tony Fang worked within healthfund companies for many years and when establishing our practice we believed it was important to support healthfunds who were focused on providing healthcare and good value rather than profits. As such, we currently have alliances with “Member’s Owned” and not for profit health funds only.
We currently have an alliance with Teacher’s Healthfund, Uni Health, Nurses and Midwives Health, CBHS, Australian Unity, GMHBA, FRANK, myOwn, AIA, HCF, Defence Health, Navy Health among others to give preferential pricing.
We support all healthfunds who are not for profit and will always endeavour to provide a minimal gap for preventative services if you are a member of a Members own fund and also members of smile.com.au and their associated funds.
We have on site same day claiming and quoting facilities so we can usually claim on your behalf and we accept ALL healthfund membships.
Please talk to us today if you need advice on private healthfund options.
Medicare - Child Dental Benefits Scheme
Parents with children ages under 18 years of age who have received Child Dental Benefits Scheme(CDBS) vouchers are bulk billed. There will be no out of pocket charges for most treatment. There are some specialised treatments that will not be covered by the scheme but we will always let you know beforehand in these very rare cases.
The majority of our patients with CDBS vouchers are fully covered for all their required work.
Please bring your medicare card to your appointment so we can check your voucher limit. Medicare normally caps this at $1013 every 2 years.
Please note, the CDBS vouchers only covers general dental options and excludes orthodontic work.
If you are unsure of your eligibility, we are happy to contact Medicare on your behalf and check for you. We simply require your childs name on the medicare card, their date of birth, and medicare card number.

Payment plans
We understand dentistry can be costly, but we will always try to find a way to help you achieve your desired outcome.
Some treatments can be staged over a period of years so the cost burden no longer becomes an issue, long term planning is something we believe in strongly.
Please talk to us if you need financing for your dental treatment as we will need to have a separate financial discussion.
For larger treatment plans $2000- $8000 we offer financing through National Dental Plan. They offer payment terms from 6 months to 2 years with the main cost being a $70 setup fee and an ongoing monthly account fee of $8.
